Coming soon to a PC near you, Diablo 3 from Blizzard Entertainment is about to rock a lot of peoples’ worlds. Blizzard is promoting this title heavily right now, and even throwing in a free copy of the game to anyone who purchases an annual pass for World of Warcraft, for a limited time only. I’ve been a fan of the Diablo series since way back when it all began, so I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this as soon as it comes out — but I think I’ll skip on the World of Warcraft offer.
It’s not that I don’t like WoW. I mean, who doesn’t? But I don’t have the same time to invest in it right now as I used to. And besides, once you’ve leveled up four or five characters and campaigned through all the add ons, you’ve pretty much seen and done it all. I have grown to appreciate the finer points of self contained games since my World of Warcraft days. Also, let us remind you to take a break from playing video games once in a while!
